Trade Your Gun For A Rose

South Carolina police were giving away guns and Best Buy gift cards yesterday for Valentine’s Day. The only catch was that you had to trade in one of your guns. The “Guns for Roses” program seemed to be quite a sucess, in fact, police in the Columbia area recieved over 131 gun trade ins.

There was no amnesty for guns turned in, and all the weapons are to be checked for ballistics involved in crimes and to see if they were stolen.
