Illinois Sewer Contains -Placenta!?!

Someone has been dumping placentas into the Illinois sewage system and police are not amused. They’ve called medical experts.

“It was one of the weirdest calls I’ve ever received,” said Julie Pryde, who heads the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District.

Suspects include midwives and vets who may be suffering from strain in the bad economy and can’t afford to use a professional medical waste disposal right now.
