Woman Arrested For Hoarding Library Book

Don’t mess with the librarians over there in Iowa.

Case in point, a young woman was recently arrested on a 5th degree theft charge for failure to return a library book. After countless phone calls to the woman’s house, including a visit to her house by police, the call had finally been made to issue a warrant for her arrest.

This simple $13.95 book cost the young lady a $250 bond for her freedom. It goes to show that in these tough times, every dollar is important, and also that the Iowa police don’t have much real crime fighting to do….
